I’ve been photographing Drag Kings in Amsterdam for the last 18 months or so - specifically The Drag King House of Løst Bois. Within the queer community, drag houses usually function as chosen family, and the bond between members is incredibly special. I make images of the houses’ weekly performance practice meet-ups, (when we can meet) But also photograph kings in or near their homes around Amsterdam. It’s an ongoing project.
